Sprosty Network connected a large group of our utility clients with the transportation industry today at CES2020. These historically independent industry sectors now increasingly intersect through both vehicles and charging, as transportation of all types becomes more electrified. Industry collaboration is crucial to accelerate the adoption of EVs, automated vehicles, and eventually even flying versions of both.
The CES North Hall is time spent with the latest transportation concepts and imminent production models such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Rivian R1T, various automated shuttle concepts (affectionately dubbed the “toaster” category for the box car look of each), and “Jetsons” VTOL offerings such as the S-A1 flying taxi from Hyundai/Uber. These solutions each offer a piece of the potential transportation revolution, and utility companies attending the show with us were given the first and best opportunities to see these things firsthand and engage directly with the companies involved to explore how to accelerate them to the benefit of both sides. We are excited to facilitate this exploration and engagement process, knowing that optimistic and substantive collaboration is what moves people- and progress.
